The Challenge
Soma Naturals had extraordinary products and a deeply meaningful brand story but no digital storefront worthy of telling it. The skincare D2C market is crowded and competitive, with brands like Forest Essentials and Kama Ayurveda setting high visual expectations. Soma needed a website that could communicate the authenticity and purity of their products, educate customers on Ayurvedic ingredients, and convert first-time visitors into repeat buyers all without compromising the brand's spiritual, handcrafted identity.
Our Approach
We approached the Soma Naturals website as a brand experience, not just a store. Every design decision from typography and color palette to product page layout and copy structure was built to reflect the brand's Ayurvedic heritage and premium positioning.
Product pages were structured to educate before they sell leading with ingredient stories, ritual-use instructions, and purity guarantees before the add-to-cart. We built a clean, mobile-first interface with fast load times optimized for the D2C skincare buyer. The collections architecture was organized around use-case (face, hair, body, fragrance) for intuitive discovery, and the checkout flow was streamlined to minimize drop-off.
The result is a website that feels as premium and intentional as the products themselves a digital ashram for the modern conscious consumer.
